In a harrowing incident on the Howrah-Chennai railway line in the Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh, a collision transpired last evening between two passenger trains. The Visakhapatnam-Rayagada Passenger Special train struck the Visakhapatnam-Palasa Passenger Express from behind, leading to the derailment of several coaches.

Regrettably, this tragic event claimed the lives of a minimum of thirteen individuals. Furthermore, due to the accident, several other trains were either canceled or had their routes shortened. This incident underscores the pressing need for enhanced safety measures and vigilance in India's rail network to prevent such devastating accidents.

4. Train No. 11019 CST Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express leaving CST is short-terminated at Visakhapatnam

5. Train No. 11020 Bhubaneswar-CST Mumbai Short originating at Visakhapatnam to CST Mumbai.

6. Puri-Chennai Express from Puri will run up to Palasa and will return as a Passenger Special to Puri.

7. Yesvantpur-Puri Express from Yesvantpur will run up to Visakhapatnam and will remain cancelled from Visakhapatnam to Puri.

8. Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Express from Tirupati will run up to Visakhapatnam and will remain cancelled from Visakhapatnam to Bhubaneswar.
